Cavitation

Cavitation is a cosmetic treatment especially indicated to reduce localized fat when it does not go away with diet and exercise, so it helps to get a delineated body, to define the figure, and remove clusters of adipose tissue. It is a relatively new nonsurgical procedure involves the use of ultrasonic waves that reduce adiposity pulling connections fat cells which are then released through the urinary system.

What is it?

Cavitation is a non-invasive liposuction treatment that does not require surgery or hospitalization or anesthesia intervention as it is performed on an outpatient basis. Eliminates localized fat by using low frequency ultrasound, applied over the area where the fat is concentrated to dissolve fat cells from within. Subsequently the fat is excreted in the urine or through the lymphatic system. This technique is used to eliminate cellulite and restore normal skin appearance of the treated areas, while improving circulation, eliminates toxins and increases the tone and elasticity of tissues.

Who can practice the procedure?

For cavitation able to perform a medical examination is required, since this technique is contraindicated in patients with pacemakers, prostheses or other implanted electronic devices, hypercholesterolemia, hypertriglyceridemia, kidney failure, liver failure, cancer, autoimmune diseases or other serious illnesses, especially connective tissue. Nor pregnant, lactating mothers or overweight patients to diet without doing any exercise).

What results can I expect from the procedure?

By producing heating of the skin, cavitation increases the formation of new collagen, elastic fibers, thereby improving flaccidity, tension and general skin of the treated area.

It is effective in all parts of the body where there are localized fat deposits. Legs, abdomen and buttocks are the most appropriate sites, but there are no real limitations in relation to other areas of the body. The duration of results is variable, depending on the lifestyle of people, if they perform physical activity, balanced diet, etc.

Technical and protocol

The system of cavitation is the use of low-intensity ultrasound to break down fat and be removed permanently. The transdermal dissolution of localized fat by the waves generated by the machine that will go into the bloodstream and must be drained to be ejected to the outside

Cavitation is applied to sessions, and a general rule according to the patient typically take 30 to 60 minutes. Depending on the area to be treated, the recommended number of sessions for a full treatment will be determined. Although the results will be seen after the first session, it is advisable to continue treatment for an average of between 8 and 12, and separated in time for at least a week or 10 days.

It is a non-surgical procedure that requires no anesthesia, a noninvasive method to continue life as normal before and after the sessions.

Recovery

Cavitation does not require excessive care posttreatment.

After each session should use methods of drainage (massage or acupressure) to facilitate the removal of fat cells and prevent reabsorbed again. Furthermore, in order to remove fat and toxins, before and after each session should drink 1.5 liters of water. It is also advisable to follow a low calorie diet from days before starting treatment.

To help keep the results of the sessions, a healthy and balanced diet and continuous physical exercise is recommended.
